In honor of April being National Child Abuse Prevention Month, Rick Berry and Mary Thony cooked an Italian-themed lunch for the Verona, WI staff. They asked participants to make a monetary donation that will be given to Children’s Voice, Inc., a local non-profit to prevent child abuse. The funds will aid them in purchasing books designed to educate children on how to identify and avoid abuse, as well as the extreme importance of reporting abuse. They donate the books to day cares and elementary schools.
